(Facilitator: Rachel Schoenberger) Eight is Still Enough was born in April of 2005 when members of the Florida Legislature passed a resolution calling for an extension of term limits to 12 years. In 1992, the citizens of Florida overwhelmingly (77%) voted for 8 year term limits for state elected officials. Our campaign seeks to remind voters to say NO to the politicians and campaign against term limit increases on the 2006 ballot.Geographical Scope: State Added on 11-17-2005 Updated on 11-18-2005 |
