BigPath Flyer: Draft: R U Ready to Take Bullet for Halliburt
Description
Flyer title: (DRAFT) Are You Raedy to Take a Bullet for Halliburton?
--------------------------------
Flyer Copy/Theme:
Serving your country in a time of need is an honorable thing. When Al Qaeda struck us on September 11, 2001, the world joined us in the hunt for Osama Bin Laden. And most of us supported George Bush’s plan.

But in 2003, for reasons we still don’t know, George Bush told us that Iraq was a direct threat to the United States and that Saddam Hussein already had or was developing weapons of mass destruction.

The definitive reports on each of those reasons have concluded that those two primary reasons for war never existed.

Iraq is now a mess. The country is largely out of control. More than 1,000 U.S. soldiers have died. We’ve spent nearly $200 billion and diverted valuable troops and resources away from the hunt for Osama bin Laden.

With our troops stretched thin in Iraq, what happens if George Bush and Dick Cheney decide another oil-rich country needs liberation? Where will the troops come from? Are you willing to die in Iraq or another conflict for trumped-up reasons? Are you ready to put your life on the line to protect Halliburton’s financial interests and a reckless go-it-alone foreign policy?

When you vote on November 2nd, you’re not just picking a candidate. You’re choosing the people who will control your country’s direction and your destiny for the next four years.

John Kerry has demonstrated he has the courage, compassion and credibility to lead this country during a difficult time. We trust him to take the job seriously.
