Herbert Kohl will discuss his book "She Would Not Be Moved," a reflection on how the Rosa Parks story is told to children. Kohl discusses how to teach children about a movement filled with hope, and critiques the popular idea that Rosa Parks was simply a tired woman in the right place at the right time. Herbert Kohl is the author of more than 30 books on progressive education.
