Description
Uhuru Furniture & Collectibles is in need of lots and lots of volunteers on Monday January 15th (Martin Luther King, Jr. Day) to volunteer a few hours of time to collectively walk door to door and distribute literature about our organization.

Plan to meet at the furniture store at 1220 Spruce Street in Center City, Philadelphia at 10:00am.
From there we will break into groups and walk around neighborhoods distributing literature from 10:30-12:30. There will be a break for lunch from 12:30-1:00 or so, then we will continue distributing literature until 3:00pm. Dress to walk and to be outside.
Feel free to work in the morning or afternoon, or all day long!

Please tell your friends about this event (and bring them with you!) If you have off from work or school on this day, don't spend the day this year at home watching tv or out going shopping! Do something important this year- come join us at Uhuru Furniture & Collectibles on MLK, Jr. Day!
