The Rochester Institute of Technology is excited to host the 18th Annual Northeast LGBT Conference in 2013. The Conference will bring hundreds of students and advisors from across the Northeast to celebrate, educate, and empower LGBT and Ally student leaders to become agents of change.

The 2013 event will feature a professional track in the form of an Advisor Conference for 100 faculty, staff, administrators, and other professionals who currently work with LGBT students, as well as a Scholar track for students who wish to attend more in-depth, educational programs.

Dress Code
Dress code for the conference is casual, both for the Advisors and Students.

"The Ally is YOU".

The theme, "The Ally is YOU" allows us to focus on supporting all sections of the LGBT community. The term “Ally” refers not only to supportive people outside the LGBT community, but also to those within who make an effort to include and support identities and cultures other than their own. "The Ally is YOU" encompasses the topics of inclusion, equality, identity, culture, ethnicity, race, politics, and socio-economics.
