The March for Social Justice to Stop America's Other War is a 5-K march-a-thon in the white community expressing solidarity with reparations and social justice and an end to the war going on in our own backyard.
Regardless who is elected president, we must send a message that we want peace at home and abroad based on social justice and liberation of oppressed peoples. The occupation and containment of the Iraqi people
is based on the occupation and containment of the African community right here. Join a march to say no more black lives
stolen in our name!

The march is a fundraiser for the Uhuru Movement. There is a
non-mandatory registration fee of $15 that gives you a t-shirt. You can get your family and friends to sponsor you. Contact the African People's Solidarity Committee for more information.

Speakers at the 1:30 p.m. rally include:
Omali Yeshitela, leader of the Uhuru Movement
Sheridan Murphy, American Indian Movement
Mohammad Chehab, Arab activist
Chris Ernesto, St. Pete for Peace
Connie Burton, host of Straight Talk on WMNF
Spoken word by: Life, Black on Black Rhyme and Liz, Florida Poetry Jam
