JOIN US for this insightful look at what happens when the white community sees cheaper prices for homes in a poor black neighborhood as an opportunity to improve their own lifestyle. What happens to the people who have lived in that community their entire lives?

“‘Flag Wars’ is a poignant account of the politics and pain of gentrification. Working-class black residents in Columbus, Ohio fight to hold on to their homes.” – PBS

This topic is so appropriate for us to be studying right now. The southside of St. Petersburg is being gentrified more and more. Participate in this study to learn more about how this happens and what we can do to support real economic development for the black community!
