United StatesA free, weeklong celebration of Palestinian culture and society.
We invite regional audiences to explore and celebrate through cinema the rich diversity of Palestinian life, culture, society, and politics.
This groundbreaking event aims to provide Philadelphians with an in-depth political and cultural context for issues that are often over-simplified in the media, and to promote films that open a space for dialogue and exchange about equality and justice.
At various venues throughout the city, this free festival will show feature-length dramas, documentaries, and short films, accompanied by discussions with filmmakers and scholars as well as performances.
This festival is supported in part by the Pennsylvania Humanities Council, the Federal-State Partner of the National Endowment for the Humanities. We are also grateful for the support of the A. J. Muste Memorial Institute, as well as our many generous co-sponsor
