United States5th International Conference for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Questioning (LGBTIQ) Muslims and their Allies - to be held in Atlanta, Georgia - Sponsored by Al-Fatiha Foundation. The conference will feature fifteen workshops, a community-wide reception and an awards ceremony. The conference will also feature a candle-light vigil to honor the victims of the attacks on September 11, 2001, victims of discrimination and abuse in the United States post 9/11 and all civilians killed in the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.
