509-527-5426The purpose of the Whitman Civil Liberties Union (WCLU) is to promote the cause of civil liberties among students, faculty, and staff at Whitman College and to further this purpose as consistent with the policies and regulations of the American Civil Liberties Union. The Whitman Civil Liberties Union is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, organization devoted to protecting the basic civil liberties of all Americans, and extending them to groups that have traditionally been denied their basic civil rights.
