The Evergreen State College CAB 320 Olympia, Washington 98505 United States 360-867-6033Mission Statement
SESAME works to establish an educational resource and an environment for activism at Evergreen with the intent of furthering connections for justice and peace in the Middle East and globally.
Vision Statement
Members of SESAME recognize the involvement of students and groups in a multiplicity of issues that are being addressed by Evergreen community members. We recognize that U.S. foreign policy toward the Middle East connects to issues Evergreen students already work to overcome and we strive to relate the way these issues connect to how the Middle East and U.S. foreign policy play out in the domestic and global issues of racism, militarization, xenophobia, classism, homophobia, and sexism. We are committed to inclusive organizing and activism, which means actively working against all forms of oppression in process and organizing.
